By purchasing any product from Legado Tech Inc., Client acknowledges and agree to be bound by the following terms of service. Client acknowledges that they have read these terms carefully before making a purchase.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, purchasing, or using any service from www.hellolegado.com, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease using our website and services.
2. Services Provided
Legado Tech Inc. (“Company”) provides access to estate planning document creation services, including Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Medical Directives, and associated documents (collectively, “Estate Planning Documents”). The Company may connect you with licensed attorneys who provide general explanations of these documents and answer questions regarding their structure and interpretation.
Scope of Service: The Company facilitates the creation and review of standard estate planning documents but does not provide specific legal advice. Any guidance provided through this service is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized legal counsel.
3. Attorney-Client Relationship
The attorneys associated with the Company are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of the Company. Your attorney-client relationship is solely with the attorney’s law firm, not with Legado Tech Inc. The Company assumes no responsibility for any actions, omissions, or advice given by the attorney.
Limited Role of Attorney: The affiliated attorney’s role is restricted to providing explanations and answering general questions about the Estate Planning Documents. They do not modify documents outside of the Company’s scope or offer ongoing legal services. The Client acknowledges that no face-to-face or extended attorney interaction is implied by the use of this service.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide Accurate Information: Furnish complete, current, and accurate information for document preparation. The Client acknowledges that the quality and reliability of the Estate Planning Documents depend on the accuracy of the information provided.
Review, Execute, and Fund Documents: The Client is responsible for reviewing, executing, and properly funding their estate plan documents. Legado Tech Inc. and affiliated attorneys are not responsible for any omissions or outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
5. Financial Advisor Relationship
If the Client is connected with a financial advisor through Legado Tech Inc., they acknowledge that the advisor is not authorized to provide legal advice. Any recommendations or guidance offered by such advisors do not constitute legal counsel. The advisor’s role is solely to facilitate the Client’s connection with a licensed attorney for estate planning purposes.
6. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
All fees for services, including attorney review, are collected by Legado Tech Inc. at the time of purchase. Payment for services is non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
Additional Services: Should the Client request further services or modifications beyond the standard Estate Planning Documents, additional fees may apply. Such fees will be agreed upon in writing by both parties before services are rendered.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
Legado Tech Inc. and its affiliated attorneys are committed to protecting the confidentiality of Client information, in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards. Use of personal data in connection with our services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our data collection, usage, and protection practices.
Data Protection: All personal and sensitive information provided by the Client is protected by appropriate security measures. However, Clients acknowledge that no online data transmission or storage system is entirely secure, and the Company cannot guarantee absolute security.
Privacy Rights for California Residents: California residents have specific privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as detailed in Section 10 below.
8. Limited Warranty and Disclaimer of Liability
Legado Tech Inc. provides services on an “as is” and “as available” basis and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Estate Planning Documents and associated services.
No Warranty: The Company makes no warranties or representations regarding the fitness or suitability of the Estate Planning Documents for the Client’s specific needs. The Client assumes full responsibility for compliance with applicable laws and the proper execution and funding of their estate plan.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the services. The Company and its affiliated attorneys shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or other financial loss arising from use of the Estate Planning Documents.
9. Consent to Communications
The Client consents to receive communications from Legado Tech Inc. via email, phone, or other means provided. These communications may relate to service updates, reminders, promotional content, or other relevant information. The Client may opt out of promotional communications at any time but acknowledges that opting out may affect the Company’s ability to provide full service support.
10. California Residents’ Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable laws:
Right to Know: You have the right to request details on the categories of personal information collected, its sources, purposes, and third-party disclosures.
Right to Delete: California residents may request deletion of their personal information, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., data required for ongoing services or compliance with legal obligations).
Right to Opt-Out of Sale: Legado Tech Inc. does not “sell” personal information for monetary gain. However, California residents may opt out of any potential future sale of data as defined under CCPA. To exercise this right, please contact us as provided below.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, to be conducted under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules, with the arbitration venue in Florida.
Arbitration Agreement: Each party agrees to bear their own arbitration costs unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision is binding, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Waiver of Class Action: The Client agrees to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waives any right to participate in a class or collective action.
12. Modification of Terms
Legado Tech Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on www.hellolegado.com and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the website and services after any such modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
