Our Story

Legacy is more than your bank account.

Legado was born from the belief that legal protection is a human right, not a luxury. By combining high-level law firm expertise with the seamlessness of a modern digital platform, Legado makes estate planning accessible for everyone. Whether you are a member of the BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ community, a non-nuclear family, or a professional navigating a changing world, Legado is here to ensure your story is told and your loved ones are secure. We aren’t just helping you plan for the end; we’re empowering you to celebrate your impact today.

Our Team

Noelle Kimble McEntee

CEO & Founder

Noelle Kimble McEntee is the CEO and Founder of Legado, on a mission to make estate planning feel less like a legal chore and more like an act of love.

Her career has been built on one persistent challenge: how do you market something people would rather not think about? From credit card processing to disability insurance to estate planning, she's made a career of finding the human story inside the products we avoid.

When her uncle passed away without a plan in place, that work became personal, and Legado was born. She'll admit she cringed the first time someone called her a "deathtech" founder. Then she realized that reaction was exactly the problem she set out to solve. Now she wears the label proudly.

Our Mission

Legado empowers anyone to confidently create their financial and estate plans to protect their legacy.

Why the Parrot?

There are a few reasons we chose a parrot, and specifically a Lorikeet, to represent Legado.

Lorikeets look the same regardless of sex. We've removed all gendered language from our estate plans to be inclusive of all families and relationships.

Lorikeets are known for their vibrant colors, representing our focus on celebrating legacies, rather than dwelling on the end of life.

Parrots have long lifespans, and many people create trusts for their pet parrots.
